In the past few years the UTDrive mobile App (i.e. Mobile-UTDrive) has been developed with the goal of improving driver/passenger safety, while simultaneously maintaining the ability to establish monitoring techniques that can be used on mobile devices on various vehicles.
Besides the main functionality of recording, the review module makes it possible to replay the recorded media streams, as well as plot the data curves of location and vehicle dynamics. In addition, the extension module provides the bacis configuration settings (e.g., recording duration time, sampling rate, Bluetooth enable, etc.), and the options of navigation on Google Map, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), and Text-To-Speech (TTS) functionalities.
